About Us

Greenock Light Opera Club

Founded in 1975 by three former pupils of Greenock Academy, Greenock Light Opera Club (GLOC) is based in the Greenock, Inverclyde area and produces an annual musical every November. Originally set up to perform light opera Gilbert & Sullivan musicals, the company now performs a wide range of light opera and musical theatre productions.

GLOC is a registered charity (Scottish Charity Number SC028080) and a member of N.O.D.A. You can support GLOC by attending our performances, volunteering at our events, sponsoring us, or becoming a member or Patron of the club. For more information, please click here.
